The tap piercing connectors is smaller than the normal insulation piercing connectors, they are equipped with insulating cover for the great protection. CD-71 tap piercing connectors are applicable for connecting the insulated conductors to low voltage aerial bundled cables or self-supporting insulated wire. And these connectors are widely applied to T-connections and Joint-connections.
Connection of main line is established by insulation piercing without stripping of insulation. Connection of tap line is established by insert tap conductor into the bore after stripping of insulation.
